Simply Coding is a wonderful group of products designed to teach 12 year olds how to code. This 15 hour programming course is sound and easy to understand. The Simply Code series has been approved for use in elementary schools and above.
This particular course teaches a student how to code for iPhone apps. It is really cool to learn the basic skills to create your very own phone app.
The course work is accessed online. Each lesson takes approximately 1 hour to complete and is broken into small, workable steps. If an aspect of the lesson is too difficult to understand, there is access to an online teacher via chat. There are videos attached to the lessons to further clarify a singular point.
In each lesson, the student learns to create a piece of code, debug it and publish the code.
